Created by a Hampton University Alum, HBCYOU DOLLS is the first brand to be placed at major retail through the "Purpose Toys POC Entrepreneur Pipeline" . ...but definitely not the last.
In 2023 PURPOSE TOYS, under the leadership of Wright-Ward, continued making history with the launch of PURPOSE TOYS LATIN (the first and only dedicated Latino-focused toy division in the nation) . And as the first and only Black-owned toy company to secure international distribution at mass, PURPOSE TOYS continues to expand its international celebration of CULTURE and nuance around the world.
With forthcoming expansion announcements, new innovations, new licensing partners and major plans for media, PURPOSE TOYS and PURPOSE TOYS LATIN remain pioneers and industry leaders in POC business advocacy and CULTURAL leadership, while remaining leaders of CULTURE-driven products and Natural Hair products for kids.
